We do not guarantee that our products will capture every incident, provide perfect image quality in all conditions, or function flawlessly under all circumstances. Camera effectiveness depends on proper installation, maintenance, and environmental factors.

Installation Responsibility

DIY Installation:

Customers who choose to install products themselves assume full responsibility for:

  • Proper installation according to provided manuals and guides
  • Any damage to property during installation (walls, ceilings, electrical systems)
  • Electrical safety and compliance with local building codes
  • Correct configuration and setup of equipment
  • Any injuries or accidents during installation

We provide installation manuals and guides for products purchased from us, but Cosmo Enterprises Plus is not liable for any issues, damages, or injuries resulting from self-installation or improper installation by customers or third parties not authorized by us.

Professional Installation:

For customers who opt for our professional installation services, we will install equipment with reasonable care. However, we are not responsible for:

  • Pre-existing structural, electrical, or network issues at the installation site
  • Hidden wiring, pipes, or structural elements that may be affected during installation
  • Access limitations or site-specific challenges that prevent optimal installation

Warranty Coverage & Limitations

Standard Warranty:

Most Cosmo Enterprises Plus cameras come with a 2-year warranty from the date of purchase, covering manufacturing defects and component failures under normal use. Warranty terms may vary for specific products and accessories.

What is NOT Covered Under Warranty:

  • Physical damage from accidents, drops, impacts, or mishandling
  • Water or moisture damage (except for defects in weatherproof cameras used within specifications)
  • Damage from improper installation or unauthorized modifications
  • Damage from power surges, lightning strikes, floods, fire, or other natural disasters
  • Damage from misuse, abuse, or negligence
  • Normal wear and tear, cosmetic damage, scratches, or discoloration
  • Damage caused by animals (including wire damage from rodents, birds, or wildlife)
  • Loss or corruption of recorded data or footage
  • Damage occurring during shipping after delivery confirmation
  • Products purchased from unauthorized dealers or resellers
  • Products with tampered, removed, or unreadable serial numbers
  • Compatibility issues with third-party devices or software

Warranty Claims:

To claim warranty service, customers must provide valid proof of purchase and contact our support team. We reserve the right to repair or replace defective products at our discretion. Warranty service does not extend the original warranty period.

Cosmo Enterprises Plus is NOT responsible or liable if customers use our products in violation of any laws, regulations, or privacy rights. We are not liable for any legal consequences, fines, or damages arising from illegal or improper use of surveillance equipment.

Data Security & Privacy:

Customers are responsible for:

  • Securing their surveillance systems with strong, unique passwords
  • Protecting access to their NVR, DVR, cameras, and mobile apps
  • Regularly updating firmware and software as recommended
  • Safeguarding recorded footage from unauthorized access
  • Complying with data protection regulations regarding storage and retention of recordings

Cosmo Enterprises Plus is NOT liable for:

  • Unauthorized access to customer systems due to weak passwords or poor security practices
  • Data breaches resulting from customer negligence
  • Loss or theft of recorded footage
  • Misuse of footage by customers or unauthorized third parties

We strongly recommend that customers follow security best practices, including changing default passwords immediately, using complex passwords, enabling two-factor authentication where available, and restricting access to authorized personnel only.

Limitations of Liability

Maximum Liability:

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Cosmo Enterprises Plus's total liability for any claims arising from the sale or use of our products shall not exceed the purchase price paid by the customer for the specific product in question.

Exclusion of Consequential Damages:

We are NOT liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to:

  • Loss of profits or business opportunities
  • Loss of data or recorded footage
  • Property damage or theft that cameras failed to prevent or record
  • Personal injury or death

Third-Party Products & Services:

Cosmo Enterprises Plus is not responsible for:

  • Performance, reliability, or downtime of third-party applications (including V360 app or other mobile apps)
  • Third-party cloud storage services, servers, or platforms
  • Compatibility issues with devices not sold by us
  • Internet service provider issues or network failures
  • Power supply failures or utility interruptions

Annual Maintenance Contract (AMC)

Our Annual Maintenance Service provides regular system checkups and support. However, AMC does NOT cover:

  • Replacement of damaged equipment due to misuse or accidents
  • Upgrades or additions to the existing system
  • Damage from natural disasters or external factors
  • Issues arising from third-party modifications
  • Travel charges to remote or difficult-to-access locations (may be charged separately)

Response times and service availability are subject to technician availability and geographical location.

Technical Support

We provide technical support to assist customers with installation, configuration, and troubleshooting. However:

  • Technical support is provided "as is" without guarantees of problem resolution
  • We cannot guarantee specific response or resolution times
  • Some technical issues may be beyond our control (network issues, device compatibility, etc.)
  • Support is available for products purchased directly from Cosmo Enterprises Plus or authorized dealers

Returns, Refunds & Cancellations
