Warranty Policy

COSMO ENTERPRISES PLUS thanks you for choosing our CCTV cameras, video door phones, door locks, and electronic security solutions. We are committed to delivering reliable and high-quality products. The following terms outline the warranty coverage provided by COSMO ENTERPRISES PLUS.

1. WARRANTY COVERAGE PERIOD

Accessories* Not Covered

*Accessories include: cables, connectors, adapters, BNC/DC connectors, mouse, remote controls, batteries, and other consumables.

2. WARRANTY VALIDITY

The warranty is considered valid only under the following conditions:

  • The original purchase invoice must be presented at the time of service.
  • The product must be purchased from COSMO ENTERPRISES PLUS.
  • The product should not be tampered with, modified, or physically damaged.
  • The serial number must be intact, clearly readable, and not altered.
  • The product must be used under normal operating conditions, as described in the user manual.

3. WHAT THE WARRANTY COVERS

Our warranty covers:

  • Manufacturing defects in materials and workmanship.
  • Hardware failures occurring under normal, recommended usage.
  • Any verified factory-level defects.

If a defect is confirmed, COSMO ENTERPRISES PLUS reserves the right to repair the product or replace it with an equivalent model.

4. WHAT THE WARRANTY DOES NOT COVER

The warranty does not cover the following:

Usage & Installation Issues

  • Improper installation, incorrect wiring, or unsuitable environmental conditions.
  • Damage caused by mishandling, accidents, fire, water, lightning, voltage fluctuations, or natural disasters.

Unauthorized Handling

  • Damage due to unauthorized repairs, modifications, or service by non-authorized technicians.
  • Products with missing, tampered, or unreadable serial numbers.

Physical or Environmental Damage

  • Liquid damage, rust, burn marks, cracks, dents, drops, or forceful impact.
  • Use of incompatible or third-party accessories, power supplies, or equipment.

Data & Consumables

  • Loss of video recordings, data, or business downtime.
  • Batteries, cables, connectors, and other consumable parts.

Door Locks – Exclusions

  • Loss of RFID cards, keys, or PIN codes.
  • Issues caused by improper door alignment or installation.
  • Damage caused by strong magnetic fields or environmental exposure.

6. WARRANTY LIMITATIONS & LEGAL DISCLAIMER

  • COSMO ENTERPRISES PLUS may use new, refurbished, or equivalent-quality parts during repairs.
  • The warranty covers only the product and does not include installation/removal charges, transportation, or site visit fees.
  • We are not responsible for any data loss, downtime, or consequential/business damages.
  • This warranty is governed by Indian Consumer Protection Laws and does not limit statutory rights.

7. PRODUCT CARE & MAINTENANCE RECOMMENDATIONS

To ensure longevity and best performance:

  • Keep devices protected from moisture, direct sunlight, dust, and extreme temperatures.
  • Use only original power supplies and accessories recommended by COSMO ENTERPRISES PLUS.
  • Clean cameras and sensors gently with a microfiber cloth—avoid chemical cleaners.
  • Ensure stable electrical connections and avoid frequent plugging/unplugging.
  • Get installations done only by qualified, trained technicians.
