Storage & Recording
Footage can be stored in multiple ways depending on your setup. For wired camera systems, recordings are stored on NVR (for IP cameras) or DVR (for analog cameras) hard drives. WiFi cameras can store footage on SD memory cards inserted directly into the camera. Some 4G cameras also support SD card storage for locations without internet or power connectivity.
Storage requirements depend on the number of cameras, video quality, and how long you want to keep recordings. Typically, a 1TB hard drive can store approximately 7-15 days of footage from 4-8 cameras. We can help calculate the right storage capacity for your specific needs.
Yes, you can review recorded footage anytime through your NVR/DVR interface, SD card, or remotely through the V360 mobile app, depending on your camera setup.
Installation & Setup

All Cosmo Enterprises Plus cameras work with the V360 app, available for free on Android and iOS devices. The app allows you to view live footage, receive motion alerts, playback recordings, and control camera settings from your smartphone.
Most WiFi cameras require a WiFi internet connection to stream footage to your phone and cloud storage. However, we also offer cameras with 4G SIM card support that work without WiFi, and cameras with SD card storage that can record locally without any internet connection.
Common accessories include Cat6 Ethernet cables for wired cameras, SMPS power supplies, camera mounting brackets and junction boxes, monitors or TVs for viewing, network switches for multiple IP cameras, and storage racks for organizing equipment. We provide all necessary accessories based on your system requirements.
Troubleshooting & Common Issues
First, ensure your WiFi router is working and within range of the camera. Check that you're entering the correct WiFi password during setup. Try resetting the camera by holding the reset button for 10-15 seconds, then reconfigure through the V360 app. Make sure your router isn't blocking new devices. If the issue persists, contact our technical support.
Verify that your NVR/DVR or camera is connected to the internet. Check if the V360 app has the correct device ID and password. Ensure your router's firewall isn't blocking remote access. For NVR/DVR systems, confirm that cloud services or P2P settings are enabled in the device settings. Restart your recording device and router, then try reconnecting.
Check if the camera has power by looking for indicator lights. For wired cameras, inspect cable connections at both the camera and NVR/DVR ends. Test the camera on a different channel or port to rule out recorder issues. For WiFi cameras, ensure the camera hasn't lost connection to your network. The camera lens cover might still be on, so check for protective film or covers.
Clean the camera lens and infrared LEDs as dirt or spider webs can block night vision. Check if night vision mode is enabled in camera settings. Verify the camera isn't pointed at reflective surfaces like windows that can cause glare. If infrared LEDs appear dim or off, the camera may need repair or replacement under warranty.
Enable motion detection in your camera or NVR/DVR settings. Set up alert zones to specify which areas should trigger notifications. Check that push notifications are enabled for the V360 app in your phone's settings. Adjust motion sensitivity, as very low settings might miss events while very high settings cause false alarms. Ensure your email address or phone number is correctly entered for alert notifications.
Most cameras have a small reset button. Press and hold it for 10-15 seconds using a pin or paperclip until the camera restarts or the indicator light flashes. After reset, you'll need to reconfigure the camera through the V360 app as all previous settings will be erased.
Yes! You can combine bullet, dome, and PTZ cameras in the same system as long as they're compatible with your NVR or DVR. IP cameras work with NVRs, while analog cameras work with DVRs. We can help design a mixed system that meets all your surveillance needs.
Warranty & Support
Most of our cameras come with a 2-year warranty covering manufacturing defects. Warranty terms may vary for accessories and other products. The warranty covers repair or replacement of defective products but does not cover damage from misuse, accidents, or improper installation.
